War in Ukraine has wreaked havoc on cancer care, with limited resources in war-torn areas hindering timely diagnosis and delaying treatment. As cancer rates continue to rise and the demand for timely diagnostics grows exponentially, the need for a solution that bypasses physical limitations to cancer diagnostics becomes urgent.

Tragically, Ukraine has one of the highest cancer incidence and mortality rates in Eastern Europe, with cancer representing 15% of all deaths. With the ongoing conflict, the situation has aggravated, needing our immediate attention.

Amidst resource allocation for defence, Ukraine’s healthcare system faces increased strain and the conflict-induced displacement of patients has disrupted cancer diagnostics, hindering screening initiatives and delaying treatment. According to a 2023 study, up to 6-8% increase in the risk of death has been reported for every 4 weeks of delay in cancer surgeries.

“War leads to delayed diagnosis…
which increases the chances of mortality….”

This is where the
Aginko Foundation steps in…

Imagine a future where patients receive swift, precise diagnoses, enabling timely interventions and personalised treatment plans. With the integration of the latest robotics and digitalization, the Aginko Foundation provides Ukrainian citizens with access to top-tier diagnostic technology and expert-pathologists from anywhere and at any time.

By investing in a high-tech lab, Ukraine isn’t just acquiring machinery; it’s investing in the well-being and future of its people, affirming a commitment to excellence in healthcare that resonates with every family touched by the scourge of cancer amidst war.
